White beers are beers brewed with a large proportion of malted wheat or not.
There are 'White' beers in Belgium (Witbier, Blanches) and in Bavarian (Weizenbier).
Bavarian contain only malt and hops, they never contain other spices or unmalted cereals. Different levels of roasting malt
differentiate categories Hell (clear) and Dunkel (dark). The 'Hell' category filtered is called 'Kristal'.
White beers are hightly fermented, unfiltered giving them this milky appearance which is at the origin of their name.
White beers produced in other countries are often close to the Belgian white beer
